Monthly Network Breakfasts to connect industry in the north
The Network always seeks to meaningfully connect and collaborate with industry and, as such, will hold Monthly Network Breakfasts in Launceston on the second Thursday of each month.
All members who work in or around the Tasmanian forest industry, are warmly invited to attend.
The breakfasts are a casual opportunity to meet, connect and converse and collaborate with other industry participants in your local area on a regular basis, and will be held from 7:30- 8:30am at Apricus (formerly Stonesthrow), located at 55 Sandown Road, Norwood.

Is there a set menu and price per head?
Yes, breakfast is at the set price of $25 per person, which includes one of the below options from the Apricus menu, as well as bottomless tea, coffee and juice.
You will be required to pre-order your menu option when you book, to ensure the venue can deliver exemplary and timely service.
Payment can be made on the day at the venue.

MIXED NUT GRANOLA/ House made granola served with seasonal fresh fruit and creamy vanilla coconut yoghurt (GF, DF, EF, V, VG)
BREAKFAST BOWL/ Fresh and crisp charred greens served with sweet potato, avocado, cherry tomatoes, hummus and seeds (VG, V, NF, DF, GF, EF)
EGGS BENEDICT/ Poached eggs served on a house-made potato rosti, with ham, cherry tomatoes and hollandaise sauce on a bed of charred greens (GF,NF)
SCRAMBLED EGGS + BACON/ Served on fresh sourdough toast, with tomato relish (NF)
Will the breakfast events follow a specific format?
The format of the monthly breakfasts will be guided by participants; however, the morning events are intended to be an opportunity to meet, connect and collaborate. Each breakfast will begin with a welcome from the TFFPN or an industry representative and on occasion the breakfasts may include a theme/topic or guest speaker who might be invited to speak for 5-10 minutes. The Network welcomes ideas and input from members on topics of interest that may be integrated into the events.
Can I bring colleagues along?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage attendees to invite workmates or other industry affiliates to the Monthly Breakfasts. It’s a terrific opportunity to expand your own networks and those of your colleagues.
Do I need to commit to attending every month?
No, these events are designed for casual attendance. We only ask that you book via our online booking system no less than two days before each event so that we can confirm numbers with the venue.
Where do I park?
There is ample free parking onsite.
Will Monthly Network Breakfasts be offered in other parts of the state too?
The northern monthly event is a pilot to gauge member interest and support. The TFFPN’s intention is certainly to look at expanding the breakfasts to the south and north-west in the future.
