The Network Welcomes Oakdale Industries
The Network is very happy to welcome new members from Oakdale Industries!
Oak Tasmania was established in 1992 and supports people to reach their full potential at home, work and in their community. Oak offers a broad range of employment opportunities for people living with disabilities.
In 2016 Oak merged with Possability to create Tasmania’s largest disability services provider. The merger has enhanced opportunities for clients and employees. Oakdale Industries has created secure employment and training for employees living with a disability.
Over the next few months, the Network will profile the some of the workers at Oak Industries and share the range of innovative projects they are working on. Oakdale Industries is a unique wood manufacturing business, which grows and produces beautiful Tasmanian timber products.
Oakdale Industries is entering a new phase of growth an innovation with the installation of a state of the art palletiser, partnerships with major Tasmanian wood suppliers, and it is currently working with the Victorian State Library to provide unique flooring for a major renovation.

• Custom built furniture from beautiful Tasmanian timber.
Hydrowood is one of the many Tasmanian innovative firms Oakdale Industries is partnering with to process and distribute rare specialty Tasmanian timbers reclaimed from Tasmania’s hydro lakes.
