The commissioning of the Southern Infrastructure Report was a key outcome of the Southern Stakeholder Consultation Forum held last year at which the Hub hosted over 50 industry participants including Senator Duniam.

The Southern Forum provided an important platform for the Hub’s stakeholders to highlight the opportunities and challenges in southern Tasmania.

In this context infrastructure was identified as a key priority, and in particular the significance of Hobart Port to southern forestry operations.

The Southern Infrastructure Report outlines the short, medium and long term infrastructure opportunities in southern Tasmania in addition to demonstrating the critical nature of Hobart Port to industry operations.

The Hub looks forward to utilising the report to advance the infrastructure opportunities identified.
